To a certain extent, automated fruit sorting systems reflect the degree of production in modern food industry, and boast theoretical application value. The previous studies mostly concentrate on design robot structure, control motions. There is little report feature extraction fruits specific applications sorting. For this reason, paper explores target positioning strategy based image processing. Firstly, authors constructed visual system for robot, explained way to recognize objects three-dimensional (3D) scene reconstruct spatial model robot.
